This song was written as promo for my book Can’t Eat, Can’t Breathe and Other Ways Cystic Fibrosis Has F#$%*d Me, though the book was a solid year old by the time this came out. I think I was just looking for any excuse to write songs again. It was entirely recorded on my iPad Air and there weren’t a whole lot of great mastering tools on the iPad at the time, so it’s not the punchiest All Hallow’s Evil song, but it’s still pretty good.
In fact, when I wrote it, I didn’t really think of it as an All Hallow’s Evil song, but when it came time to release it, I thought it would be easier to put the All Hallow’s Evil name on it. And hey, I thought maybe some people who liked my book might listen to some other All Hallow’s Evil songs (they didn’t).
There’s a pretty good video for this too. I maybe should have asked before I wrapped my buddy’s baseball bat in a rag soaked in lighter fluid, but that’s just not my style.
